A Letter from our pastor

In January of 2019, Citywalk was launched as “an alternative to church as usual.”

Our desire is to be a church where we walk with you into a growing relationship with Jesus. That means the long-time believer, or the skeptic who doesn’t buy into this Christianity thing.

So, for us “an alternative to church as usual” means: being all about Jesus and doing the things Jesus would have done. We want to serve our community with immeasurable love and ridiculous generosity. We want to answer the questions people are actually asking. But most of all, we want to be the safest place in the world for anybody struggling with anything; we want to be welcoming to every person imaginable, from any background.

If you are a believer looking for a community to plug into, welcome. If you are investigating faith, we want you to know that this is a safe place to do that. In fact, you can belong here before you ever believe so we welcome you too!

We want to be a movement on mission in our city, to amplify the name of Jesus and to lead people to experience the love and grace He offers. Not because we’re perfect, but because we have experienced this love and grace and have been deeply changed.

We are not perfect, but Jesus is, and thankfully, we are a Jesus church.

My wife Laurie and I want to personally invite you to join us at attending a Sunday at Citywalk. We hope you'll join us soon- we are excited to meet you.
