10/25 Yuba City - In the World - Resources
Nobody intends to waste their life, yet busyness, distraction, comfort, and comparison can keep us from using what God has entrusted to us. In Matthew 25:14–30, Jesus tells a story about three servants given different amounts of their master's resources. The first two acted faithfully and were commended, while the third allowed fear and inaction to keep him from using what he had received.
God gives each of us different opportunities but calls all of us to faithfulness. Rather than comparing our abilities, time, or resources with others, we can use what God has given us for His glory and the good of others. The sermon challenges us to practice gratitude and intentionally leverage our lives for God's kingdom.
