FOR THE ONE

We believe God is calling Citywalk to plant a neighborhood church in Willows.

Over the past two years, Citywalk has served the Willows, CA community through Sports Camp and other outreach efforts. Volunteer teams from Yuba-Sutter have engaged with families, children, and local businesses. Parents, business owners, and community members have welcomed Citywalk with gratitude for simply showing up to serve.

Through these relationships, God has made something clear: Willows is not just a place to visit. It is a place to plant. God has gone ahead of us. A building is available. A planter from our own church is preparing to be sent. A trusted partner, the Send Network, will help this new church become a healthy, lasting church in Willows.

We believe this is the next faithful step God is inviting Citywalk to take.

Why Willows?

Willows is a community with real spiritual needs and limited access to healthy, gospel-centered churches. Many families are disconnected from church entirely. Others have been hurt, discouraged, or drifted away over time.

When Jesus spoke about leaving the ninety-nine to go after the one, He was describing a willingness to move toward need rather than comfort. Planting a neighborhood church in Willows reflects that same heart. It is about meeting people where they are, building relationships, and creating a local church presence that serves consistently and faithfully.

The impact we’re praying for:

  • A gospel-centered church rooted in Willows.

  • People who were once far from God finding hope and new life in Jesus.

  • Families discovering community, care, and spiritual growth.

  • A lasting church presence that serves Willows for generations.
