8/30 Edgewater - Daniel 7
Daniel 7 can feel chaotic and confusing, but its central message is simple: earthly kingdoms come and go, but God is always in control and His kingdom is eternal. Daniel's vision reminds God's people to live with eternity in view rather than allowing the instability of the world to determine their priorities.
The sermon ultimately points to Jesus, the Son of Man, whose kingdom will never be destroyed. Because God is on the throne, Christians can face suffering and uncertainty with peace, invest in what matters eternally, and trust God even when His purposes aren't immediately clear.
